a charming stay

I found the breakfast excellent, it featured a wide variety of sweet and savory choices! the free minibar in the room was a delight, fully stocked and adding a nice touch to my stay. the reception staff were friendly. They assisted me with all my queries with a smile.
the television offered limited european channels. it also featured many locked channels and radio stations. it was somewhat limiting for entertainment.

the hotel is situated right on passeig de gracia, a very central location. it is convenient with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. the metro station is just a few steps away.

the staff were helpful and accommodating to all my requests. they provided fresh, squeezed orange juice at breakfast and always checked how i wanted my eggs cooked. the staff also offered assistance with my bags.

the location was acceptable since it had access to public transportation.
the room's furniture looked old, and it was evident it had been used a lot. the bed wasn't comfortable, the pillows were bad and the linings felt rough against my skin. the bathroom included an old bathtub, it was not well maintained.

The staff were really helpful. The room included a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. I noted the included European breakfast had made-to-order egg and crepe choices. I appreciate a tasty start to the day.
The minibar was never refilled after the first day. I thought this was odd as I were encouraged to consume these items upon arrival. A shirt I left in the closet could not be located after I was ask to change rooms. I received a response of "good luck looking for it".

The location is excellent. i appreciated the room setup, it included tea and coffee facilities. mini bar items. they also offered complimentary ice lollies and water upon check-in. It was a grateful touch. we loved the gift jar of sweets at departure.

central location, disappointing details

I was quite annoyed by a few issues. the lack of usb ports in the room was frustrating. Only three electrical outlets existed, and one was far from the bed. the terrace view was also depressing, overlooking neglected building interiors, and privacy between terraces was nonexistent. moreover, ants invaded the room one night. A receptionist helped with spray, but the experience was unnerving.
